Until now, there have been few options for getting a hybrid battery replaced in Hybrid mode, you either go to a dealer or have someone fix it for you by replacing a single module. even with a replacement, you probably still lack the warranty offered even on the sales battery.

Battery modules or “cells” are conditioned in a process that reverses the aging of the modules and restores their ability to store electricity. The capacity of the modules is determined and the module is placed in an “inventory” of modules of similar capacity. The remaining battery components are cleaned, reconditioned and tested to ensure proper operation. The entire battery is then reassembled and load-tested in its full real-world profile, which places the same demands on it as real-world driving. Each battery must meet strict performance standards before being installed in a vehicle.

There are many shops and individuals who claim to be able to fix your battery for as little as €300. While a cheap battery repair may seem tempting at first, a closer look usually tells a different story. Simple battery repairs usually only involve replacing one faulty module in your battery. While this can clear the error report and get you back on the road cheaply, it has many high-risk pitfalls that you may not be able to avoid.
Consider a replacement module first – at €500 for a full repair you can be sure that the person repairing the batteries has no way of actually testing the modules they are installing. They simply buy used modules from eBay or another used parts supplier, hoping that the module is good. There is a 1 in 28 chance (or worse) that the module is actually bad, as most used modules come from defective batteries that are being disassembled and sold piecemeal.
